Tommy Johnagin wrote "You’re Only Young Twice" and also serves as an executive producer on the project. He is joined by Ashley Tisdale and Mandy Summers as executive producers. Johnagin's previous work includes "Ted Animated" and "That ’90s Show," where Summers also holds credits.

This development marks Ashley Tisdale's return to multi-camera comedy and CBS. She previously held a series regular role on the 2020 sitcom "Carol’s Second Act."
