Crucially, this feature requires the exclusive use of the Samsung Keyboard to function.
Now Brief: Personalized Daily Briefings
The 'Now Brief' feature receives a significant update for the Galaxy S26 series, integrated with One UI 8.5. The updated version will integrate data from various applications, organizing it into relevant categories.
This aggregated information will be readily accessible on both the lock screen and the edge panel. It aims to provide a personalized briefing with suggested content and actions throughout the day.
Data Privacy: User Control with Now Brief
To utilize 'Now Brief,' users must enable 'Personal data intelligence' in their device Settings. Samsung has outlined a clear privacy stance for this feature.
Samsung states that data for this feature is stored locally on the phone and is not sent to the cloud without explicit user consent.
Data processed by Now Brief is categorized into distinct areas, including: Health and wellness, Travel, Events and tasks, Digital Wellbeing, and Communication, ensuring structured and relevant insights.
