View source

A recent NXT television episode saw three championships change hands, alongside a title retention and the advancement of various tournament brackets. Four championship matches were contested, with results also including progress in the Women's Speed Tournament and other rivalry matches.

Championship Changes

NXT Tag Team Championship

The Vanity Project, consisting of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, defeated DarkState (Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars) to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. The title change occurred after Tony D’Angelo intervened, assaulting Shugars, which allowed Baylor to secure the pinfall.

NXT Speed Championship

Elio LeFleur won the NXT Speed Championship in a Triple Threat Match. LeFleur pinned previous champion Jasper Troy to claim the title, with Eli Knight being the third participant. LeFleur's win followed a tilt-a-whirl crucifix maneuver, which was preceded by Knight's Moonsault.

NXT North American Championship

Myles Borne defeated Ethan Page to win the NXT North American Championship, concluding Page's reign. During the match, Borne targeted Page's pre-existing ankle injury. Interference from The Vanity Project was nullified by the intervention of Hank & Tank and Shiloh Hill. Additionally, Ricky Saints was confronted by NXT Champion Joe Hendry, which preceded Borne executing his "Borne Again" finishing move for the victory.

Championship Retention

NXT Women’s Championship

Jacy Jayne retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Sol Ruca. Zaria interfered prior to the match by attacking Ruca, which preceded Jayne securing the win with a "Rolling Encore." The championship remains with Fatal Influence.

Other Match Results

  • Keanu Carver defeated Sean Legacy after executing a Pounce and a Suplex.

  • Thea Hail advanced to the final of the Women’s Speed Tournament by defeating Blake Monroe. Jaida Parker interfered during the match, striking Monroe, which preceded Hail's win.

  • Uriah Connors defeated Kale Dixon. Connors, accompanied by Arianna Grace, Stacks, and Lexis King, secured the win with a knee strike against his former Chase U teammate.
