President Honors Charlie Kirk, Cites Religious Renewal

During a recent presidential address, the President paid tribute to Charlie Kirk, a close political ally who died in September 2025 at a rally. Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk's widow, was present at the event.

The President stated that during his time in office, there has been a "tremendous renewal" in religion, faith, Christianity, and belief in God, particularly in the last year. He attributed this renewal, especially among young people, to Charlie Kirk. The President asserted that Kirk was "violently murdered by an assassin and martyred... for his beliefs." He also acknowledged Erika Kirk's presence during these remarks.

Kirk was "violently murdered by an assassin and martyred... for his beliefs."

The President expressed gratitude to Erika Kirk and called for unity in memory of Charlie Kirk. He urged a reaffirmation of America as "one nation under God" and a rejection of "political violence of any kind."

The President also remarked on the resurgence of faith:

"We love religion, and we love bringing it back, and it’s coming back at levels that nobody actually thought possible."

Erika Kirk reportedly showed emotion and thanked the President and attendees.
