Three Hospitalised After LPG Tanker Loses Control in Carnegie

An LPG tanker lost control on the Princes Highway in Carnegie, Melbourne, around 12:30 PM, leading to three individuals being transported to hospital.

Tanker Veers Off Road, Collides with Obstacles

The heavy vehicle veered dramatically off the road, initiating a destructive path. It collided with several parked cars and power poles before finally coming to an uncontrolled stop in the front yard of a residential property. Fortunately, the house itself remained untouched, and no occupants were present inside at the time of the crash.

Emergency Response and Casualties

Emergency services, including Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics, swiftly responded to the chaotic scene. A woman in her 50s was among those transported to The Alfred hospital, suffering upper body injuries but reported to be in a stable condition. The truck driver also sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for assessment. A third woman was similarly transported to The Alfred for medical attention.
