Nor'easter's Impact: A Rare Magnitude Event

Cody Snell, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service's (NWS) Weather Prediction Center, recently commented on the significant nature of a recent nor'easter.

Snell noted that while nor'easters frequently bring heavy snow and considerable impacts, this particular event stood out.

"Several years had passed since an event of this particular magnitude affected such a large and densely populated area of the country."

This statement, emphasizing the unusual scale and reach of the storm, was shared during an interview with CBS News, a US partner of the BBC.
