Search Underway for Man Missing in Wallis Lake, Forster

A search operation is in progress for a man who entered Wallis Lake in Forster, New South Wales, and did not resurface.

Emergency services, Surf Life Saving, and Marine Rescue personnel are conducting the search at Wallis Lake, which is located north of Newcastle. Authorities were alerted to the incident, which occurred north of the Forster–Tuncurry Bridge, at approximately 4:45 PM yesterday.

Initial extensive search efforts did not locate the man. The search resumed this morning, with crews continuing to cover the lake and shoreline areas.
