Leo's Supermarket Heidelberg to Close Early on March 13

Leo's Supermarket in Heidelberg is scheduled to close on March 13, which is earlier than its initial late 2026 projected closure date. Customers have noted reduced customer traffic and dwindling inventory at the store, which has operated for 25 years and is recognized for its gourmet products.

Uncertainty Surrounds Kew Sister Store

The status of Leo's sister store in Kew remains uncertain. In June of the previous year, the Kew store's property was reportedly acquired by developer Orchard Piper, with proposals for luxury housing, retail spaces, and a specialty produce section.

The original intention for the Kew store was to cease operations by the end of 2026; however, it is currently unknown if this timeline has been altered.
