Backcountry Skiers Rescued After Avalanche Incident

Six members of a 15-person backcountry ski group were rescued early this week. The incident occurred following a three-day guided ski trip.

The group encountered an avalanche while returning, leading to the rescue operation.

The incident involved eight feet (2.4 meters) of snow and winds reaching 90 mph.
