Llano Man Charged with Murder of Caltech Astrophysicist
Freddy Snyder, a 29-year-old Llano resident, has been charged with the murder of 67-year-old Caltech astrophysicist Carl Grillmair. The charges follow Snyder's arrest for carjacking a relative and burglarizing a home.

Carl Grillmair was discovered fatally shot on the porch of his residence in Llano, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's detectives. Authorities initially arrested Snyder for carjacking, and he was subsequently linked to Grillmair's death.
