Sundar Pichai Highlights Indian GI Coffee at India AI Impact Summit 2026
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, visited the Bharat GI Coffee Lounge during the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Bharat GI Initiative
Earlier this week, Minister Goyal announced the launch of Bharat GI. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) introduced this brand to promote India’s legacy products globally.
Positioned as “A World Exclusive,” the initiative aims to enhance international recognition and premium positioning for Geographical Indication (GI) products.

Goyal stated that India’s GI products represent centuries of craftsmanship, community knowledge, and unique geography. The initiative began with Indian GI Coffee, aiming to introduce global audiences to "Bharat through aroma, flavour, and authenticity.”
India AI Impact Expo 2026
The India AI Impact Expo 2026 is being held from February 16 to 21, concurrently with the Summit at Bharat Mandapam. The Expo is a large-scale exhibition of AI applications, spanning 10 arenas over 70,000 square metres.

The event features over 300 exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations organized around three themes: People, Planet, and Progress. More than 600 startups are presenting population-scale AI solutions already deployed.
International Presence:Thirteen country pavilions are participating, representing Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and Africa.
Organizers anticipate over 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates. More than 500 sessions with over 3,250 speakers and panellists are scheduled to discuss AI’s cross-sectoral impact and future pathways, aiming to ensure AI benefits global citizens.
