Former President Donald Trump commented on the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, while aboard Air Force One. He made his remarks in response to a question from Fox News' Peter Doocy regarding the situation.
Trump described the disappearance as troubling and expressed criticism regarding public discussions surrounding the case. He specifically voiced disapproval of certain aspects of the media's focus.
"It’s so bad. I didn’t like what they were talking about. Going after the pacemaker and the — and, you know, before they even started going after it, they’re coming and reporting it.”
He further added that the disappearance remains deeply concerning. Trump also suggested a shift in media focus, stating, “It just in terms of strategies, one little piece, I don’t know. But we have to start reporting on other subjects also and see what happens. It’s a very sad situation.”
