Australians Held in Syrian Facilities Since 2019

Dozens of Australians have been held in camps and prisons across Syria since 2019. These individuals are located in facilities such as the al-Roj camp in northern Syria.

Their detention began after the Islamic State (IS) group was dislodged from its final stronghold in the country.
