Bayley Hall, 22, has been selected to join the Supercheap Auto Racing wildcard program, where he will be paired with veteran driver Craig Lowndes. This program has transitioned to Team 18, following five years with Triple Eight.

Hall, a former Carrera Cup driver, is scheduled to make his Supercars debut in the Queensland Raceway sprint round in August. He will subsequently team with Lowndes for the Enduro Cup.

Alongside his Supercheap wildcard commitments, Hall will also participate in a Super2 Series campaign for Eggleston Motorsport. His Super2 Series campaign is slated to begin with Round 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend.

Hall stated that securing the Supercheap seat fulfills a long-held ambition to compete in the Bathurst 1000, acknowledging the successful history of drivers through the wildcard program.

Lowndes supported Hall's selection, noting that the wildcard program aims to identify and provide opportunities for deserving young drivers. He expressed his anticipation of collaborating with Hall and aiding his entry into Supercars, having observed Hall's impressive race craft and dedication during his Carrera Cup commentary duties.

Hall cited Lowndes as a key inspiration for professional conduct outside of the race car since his go-karting days.
