Binondo Vendors Hopeful for Sales Surge in Coming Year
Vendors in Binondo, Manila's Chinatown, are expressing optimism for increased sales of lucky charms and other goods in the coming year. This hopeful outlook persists even as some report a current dip in patronage.
Emily Ramos, whose family has operated a charm business in Binondo since 1996, noted that while current sales are lower this year, they are grateful for continued patronage.
Alvin Bongao, a charm shop vendor with a decade of experience, also reported that sales were lower compared to the previous year. However, he maintained hope for an increase in customers later in the day.
Ryan Cawili, a balloon seller of 15 years, expressed his aspiration to sell all his merchandise. He also wished for a prosperous year ahead for everyone.
Binondo's charm and goods vendors remain optimistic for the coming year, despite a reported decrease in current sales, looking forward to increased customer patronage.
