Pre-Season Testing and Official Practice Sessions

Initial pre-season testing at Phillip Island commenced with Nicolo Bulega leading both Free Practice sessions on the first day. He recorded a fastest lap of 1:29.345s. Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was second, 0.291s behind Bulega, showcasing early competition. Superpole Session

Nicolo Bulega secured pole position in the opening Superpole session of the 2026 Australian WorldSBK with a commanding performance. He finished over 0.4 seconds ahead of Yari Montella, with Sam Lowes completing a Ducati front-row lockout. This demonstrated Ducati's strong pace early in the season.
