The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was declared deceased at the scene after his vehicle reportedly struck a kerb. An area in front of the Giralang shops was cordoned off following the incident.

Investigation

ACT Policing's Major Collision Team has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance.
