The event featured the highly anticipated 3-point Contest, the Shooting Stars competition, and the high-flying Slam Dunk Contest. Damian Lillard secured his third 3-point Contest title, etching his name into the history books alongside an elite few. Team Knicks emerged victorious in the Shooting Stars event, while the Slam Dunk Contest captivated with four new participants. The evening's events kicked off at 5 p.m. ET and were broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.

Lillard Makes History in 3-Point Contest

Damian Lillard claimed his third 3-point Contest title, an achievement that places him in an exclusive club alongside NBA legends Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only three-time winners in the event's history.

In the final round, Lillard showcased his sharpshooting with 29 points, besting Devin Booker, who finished with an impressive 27 points. Lillard had also posted a strong 27 points in the first round to advance. Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel impressed by advancing to the final round, where he scored 17 points.

Lillard is currently sidelined from the Trail Blazers season due to a torn Achilles.

Team Knicks Shines in Shooting Stars

Team Knicks emerged victorious in the Shooting Stars competition, demonstrating superior teamwork and accuracy. The winning trio featured All-Stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, complemented by retired franchise great Allan Houston. They triumphed over Team Cameron, which was composed of Kon Kneuppel and Jalen Johnson, in a spirited final.

New Faces Electrify Slam Dunk Contest

The Slam Dunk Contest brought fresh talent to the stage with four new participants vying for the coveted title.

The 2026 Slam Dunk Contest featured an entirely new lineup of participants, bringing fresh energy to the competition.

The competitors were:

  • Carter Bryant (San Antonio Spurs)
  • Jaxson Hayes (Los Angeles Lakers)
  • Jase Richardson (Orlando Magic)
  • Keshad Johnson (Miami Heat)

Notably, three-time reigning champion Mac McClung did not participate in this year's event, opening the door for a new champion to be crowned.
